COCOA
POD ROT / BLACK POD Brown circular spots enlarge to cover pod surface, turning dark brown or black. Internal rotting in immature pods. Remove infected pods. Spray 1% Bordeaux Mixture during monsoon. Ensure proper drainage and aeration.
PHYTOPHTHORA CANKER Water-soaked lesions on stem with dark margins. Wilting when infection spreads. Remove affected parts and apply Bordeaux paste. Control pod rot to reduce spread.
PINK DISEASE Pink coating on stem, bark splitting, leaf wilting. Remove infected branches. Apply Bordeaux paste and spray before monsoon.
GRAPES
POWDERY MILDEW White growth on leaves and fruits causing cracking and discoloration. Spray 1% Bordeaux Mixture regularly.
DOWNY MILDEW Affects leaves, flowers, and fruits leading to heavy loss. Remove infected parts and spray Bordeaux Mixture.
COFFEE
LEAF RUST Yellow spots turning to orange powder; leads to defoliation. Spray 0.5% Bordeaux Mixture pre & post monsoon.
BLACK ROT Blackening of leaves and berries; defoliation. Remove infected plants and spray before monsoon.
DIE BACK Leaf yellowing, twig wilting, failure of buds. Spray during pre-blossom and monsoon seasons.
ARECANUT
KOLEROGA (FRUIT ROT) Water-soaked lesions on nuts, leading to shedding. Spray twice before and during monsoon.
BUD ROT Yellowing and rotting of spindle. Remove infected tissue and apply Bordeaux paste.
PEPPER
FOOT ROT Leaf, collar, and root rot affecting entire plant. Spray Bordeaux and apply paste on stem.
ANTHRACNOSE Black sunken spots on berries. Spray before flowering and during fruit stage.
CARDAMOM
CAPSULE ROT Water-soaked lesions, rotting of capsules. Spray at monsoon onset and repeat as needed.
LEAF BLOTCH Blackened capsules and leaf damage. Remove infected plants and spray regularly.
RUBBER
PINK DISEASE Infection at fork region of branches. Spray twice annually with Bordeaux Mixture.
LEAF FALL Fruit rot followed by leaf fall. Spray before monsoon; apply Bordeaux paste.
GINGER
LEAF SPOT Black spots causing leaf drop. Spray during June–July.
RHIZOME ROT Rotting of stems and roots. Remove infected plants and drench with solution.
